Adorama: information

Very happy with this company. This was my first purchace with them and I must say I am a happy customer. Very good experince all around. I purchaced a Canon 5d Mark II Camera.

Adorama was excellent to work with. I ended up with a couple of items that I didn't need and was able to easily return them. The customer service was excellent. I will purchase from them again. SL, Seattle, WA

Ordered a Pentax 16-45 lens through Adorama's web site. The confirmation was almost instantaneous and well documented. I elected to use their 2 day shipping, the price was not outrageous. The lens arrived as they said it would, no delays. Their web site is very easy to use and their prices are some of the best around. I will continue to do business with Adorama in the future.

Ray Garcia (x2245) from Adorama is always SO helpful and he really helped me get a new Canon 5D Mark II FAST. I've known him for years and he always helps me get exactly what I need faster than anyone else could. Adorama is where I purchase most of my equipment because it's convenient and mostly because of the friendly and personal customer service that larger stores just can't offer.

Overall Adorama has a good website, good prices and delivers the goods without the "confirmation call" to upsell product.

However after ordering a D90 for Christmas as a gift to my wife, and giving it to her I found out she would have really enjoyed having the same kit (camera and 18-105mm lens) but one step higher adding a 70-300mm lens as well.

I wrote in asking if adorama would help me buy this other lens at the kit price difference ($404) vs buying the lens for $449 off their site, assuming since I just bought the camera they would surely help.

I got the email back saying call sales at their 800 # so i did and boy after talking to two diffrent reps, being on hold for over 15 mins then hungup on, calling back sitting thru it all again and finally reaching a rude salesman who didn't even listen to my situation fully I was told "sorry we can't do anything for you, buy a refurb at $399).

Bad part was I had already ordered another 300+ in accessories and was about to order that lens and another lens and a few other items (easily over another $500 in product, yet the bad phone experience and rude customer service and sales reps I experienced made me think twice about ordering from them again.

I traded in some used equipment. I live across the country from Adorama - their free shipping and no-risk appraisal made this an easy task. Everybody I dealt with was friendly and helpful. I'll definitely use them again.

Am a professional photographer and have dealt with Adoroama a number of times and been happy until they royally screwed up this order. Paid for expedited shipping that takes a week and half, spoke to several disinterested staff all who acknowledge they made a mistake and no one prepared to sort it out. WILL NEVER USE AGAIN!!!

My recent investment of a used Nikon F100 camera from Adorama has become a very joyful experience.

Nikon F-100 and Sigma lens was very fair. I was so
impressed with Joel that I ordered another Nikon
lens, 50mm F1.8, and his price was very competitive.

Ray Garcia did an excellent job of completing my order of my new Canon 5D Mark II. Because of Ray's follow through, I was one of the lucky few to receive the new Canon 5D Mark II and the battery grip. I was able to use the new camera on a 7 day catalog shoot down in Miami Beach. I'm extremely happy with the new 5D.

As usual Ray and Adorama came through with excellent service, from start to finish.
