Apparently this caused a problem with shipping, and I received an email stating that the order couldn't go through. A call to Newegg got this cleared up right away, with no hassle. I gave them our physical address and they took care of it. They have very good customer service in my opinion. |

I was informed that it would take 24-48 hours just to process..Much to my surprise. Not only does this save me time from going to the store and waiting for a salesperson and listening to his sales pitch it also saved me on gas and having to stuff it in my car and carrying it into my house. Now this is what I call service!!! I called Newegg up right away and they were so very polite and very gracious. I also got a much better price than any other store or online. I paid through Paypal and through them I also recieved a code for an additional $30.00 off!! I will definatly be shopping her again!! A+++++++++ in my opinion! |

Even though the monitor wasn't eligible for a refund, Newegg let me purchase another one (different brand thankfully) and return the worthless monitor. |

In my experience, it's *very* difficult to beat NewEgg's combination of great prices and great customer service. |

| Rating |  5 / 5 | | Comment | I've been shopping at Newegg for quite a few years now and I've always been extremely satisfied with my purchases. The prices are always low and the shipping is fast.
However, I had a run in with the customer service department that prompted this review. I bought some networking equipment and when I received it, I noticed that it was incompatible with my current set up. I knew I was going to have to return them. I dreaded it because every experience I've had trying to return something somewhere has left me with a headache.
I went online and printed out my RMA forms from the Newegg website. Easy as 'pie' ('cake' would be more appropriate...have you ever tried to make pie; it's hard!). I wasn't sure though how to go about getting the shipping labels so I emailed Newegg's customer service dept. and waited.
Not too long later, I received and email not only answering my question, but offering to send me the appropriate labels. I was baffled! I've never dealt with an online merchant that went out of its way to help the customer send back things for their money back. The agent that I dealt with was super knowledgeable and made sure that I had everything I needed.
I had the boxes picked up by UPS the next morning and was amazed that throughout the whole process I didn't get a headache once!
It was truly a great experience and it's customer service like that that will keep me coming back to Newegg for years to come. I am a very very happy customer.

| Rating |  5 / 5 | | Comment | The first PC I built was a 486 machine, and have been quite loyal to various manufacturers and retailers. On the retail side, price generally isn't enough--some fraction of everything is DOA, some shipping goes awry, etc. CUSTOMER SERVICE, whichever level I'm at (retail or manufacturer) is PARAMOUNT. I'll keep ordering if there's no real service to speak of, but I won't return except for price.
Newegg is one of those rare retailers that offers BOTH, exceptional price and service. I still price around (can't help it -- I like research), but rarely find things substantially cheaper, and seldom find more than a few dollars difference. IN large orders, this all balances out. Newegg's service has ensured long-term loyalty.
Lastly, kudos must be paid to Newegg's developers/programmers. The menu system is fantastically intuative, allowing quick finding of just the right part -- being able to whittle choices down one item at a time (e.g., number of ports or speed of a switch), narrowing the options until you have a manageable number of items to look at is a great help. The sort functions (price, # of reviews, rating...) also help figure things out, and the deep number of user ratings really help identify particular problems or benefits before purchasing (e.g,. X component does/does not work with Linux). This greatly makes up for the lack of tech support at the retail level.
There's more praise I could write (e.g., shipping) but other reviews have covered that as well. Newegg deserves the high rating from this site. |

A few months ago I had a $10 rebate for a package of DVD's falsely rejected from an unscrupulous company called "Ridata". I send a note to Newegg customer service asking for their help. Ruby Luo contacted Ridata on my behalf. When Ridata continued to refuse to honor my legitimate rebate, Ruby issued me a Newegg credit, even though this was truly not a Newgg liability.

I like there fast shipping. I also like the fact that every item they sell is in stock. I made many purchases with them and I am very satisfied with them. Basically I save time and money by shopping with them,because my local computer stores never have what I want in stock or can promise an item in stock. Also they have excellent customer service . Within seconds I can talk to someone where as some computer stores you have to wait in a line up to an hour to have someone talk to you. Why waste my time at a local computer store when I can get what I need and have it delivered on time fast.Save money on gas and as I stated before save time and be happy. |

The s/h is so fast that you often get it 2 days after your order. The selection is WOW! And my favorite, the customer reviews! When you have no clue, reading the reviews often helps! Sometimes they even answers questions you didn't know you had yet! And top it off with remarkable customer service! Thanks to Wendy Yang, instead of feeling I missed out on a deal, she overlooked my mistake and I'll get the "free game" to compliment my new system I built!

When I have run into problems, their customer support have always been excellent. This latest go-around, I had to return an Asus 4850 video card (it died). I had completed the RMA request online. I realized that there was a $28 restocking fee on the return. I chatted with a customer service agent named Venson. The restocking fee was waived AFTER THE FACT. It was painless. Now I will be placing another order, for a different video card of course. |

received products on Wednesday morning on free
3-day shipping. There were a few ordering snafus
which were corrected promptly and appropriate
money refunded. The only issue which was
corrected for me, but not a permanent fix yet,
was when I ordered 1 (heaviest) item that had
free shipping included, I decided on that item
partly due to the free shipping. Then rather
than pay shipping somewhere else for 2 additional
(light weight) items, I decided to get them at
Newegg on the same order, assuming I would only
have to pay any shipping if the total shipping
charges went over UPS's tier weight point.
Instead, it is the policy of Newegg to charge
shipping on each individual item, thus,
effectively eliminating my "free" shipping
benefit. The two additional items' combined
weight wwas negligible compared to the "free"
shipping item's weight. This is like charging
sales tax on the full price of a discounted
item...you should only pay taxes on the
collected amount because that is all the
company passes on to the state. Newegg should
fix their shipping charge methodology for ALL
orders, but in this case, they DID fix it for me.
This shows their good faith, and I will buy
from them again (but will not buy any items
that don't have free shipping at the same time
as items with, unless they agree again to refund
the shipping tier difference.
I still rate them 5-eggs :) |

His mother passed away and I just put the replacement drive away. When I asked him to come over to finish fixing the computer, he informed me that it was the wrong part. New Egg was wonderful by granting a refund even though we were past the 30 refund. I have ordered the correct part, and I can't wait when the computer is up and running again. Thank you New Egg!!! |

It might just be that I'm two states away from a distribution center, but their shipping is LIGHT SPEED. Not to mention they have streamlined the entire ordering process in order to avoid bureaucracy, since an RMA only requires you to send the item back, and they very quickly refund your money. That is assuming you don't like whatever you get from them, which is generally quite rare |

The first couple of times I called, the customer service reps did not tell my what was wrong. They just kept telling me to wait 24-48 hours and I would get a email stating if the order finally went through or not. I finally was able to speak to Clarrissa. She immediately told my why the fraud flags were raised causing delay in the ordering process, and what I could do to fix the issue. She then made sure that my order would arrive on time or ahead of schedule. THANK YOU CLARRISSA. The other customer service reps just waisted my time, by not telling me the real reasons for the delay. I will definitely keep ordering from Newegg as they are almost always the best price. And hands down best overall customer service

When I finally found the right case (ventilation) and put it all together, I got no boot screen. BUMMER! So i did all the troubleshooting found on the manufacturers website and also took it to the Geek Squad and still nothing. We isolated the problem to a corrupt BIOS on the mobo. I was encouraged by the Geek Squad and Gigabyte to request an RMA# from Newegg. I informed both that by this time I was past my 30 day window for refunds/exchanges. They urged me to call Newegg and give them the details of the situation anyway. So I called Newegg and explained what had transpired since placing the initial order. I figured the worst thing they would tell me at this point was that could not issue an RMA# this late after purchase. WRONG! They said that they do special case RMA such as mine from time to time. I have a RMA # on it's way to me. AND THE KICKER....... they are gonna pay the shipping both ways! I have done buisness with Newegg before. I always put them in the same category as most other online retailers I have dealt with. Only looking to make a profit and not much care for customer satisfaction in the long term. Boy, was I wrong!I believe that Newegg is top shelf because of their willingness to go that extra mile to ensure their customers recieve quality merchandise in a timely fashion and will settle for nothing less than stellar customer service. I recommend Newegg to anyone looking for a fair deal and quality merchandise. The customer support can't be beat. |

ORIGINAL:
i've ordered from new egg in the past, and have generally been satisfied. However, they seem to have gone down hill since then.
I placed and order early Monday afternoon and was expecting that this would easily be able to get to me by Friday. Early in the afternoon on Tuesday, I got an email stating that they had failed to verify my credit card information. I called my credit card company and they verified that both the shipping and billing information was correct. WTF?
I called Newegg, and they said they would re-submit the order and that it would take 2 to 4 hours.
24 hours later, they still have not attempted to re-verify my credit card information and one of the parts on my order is no longer in stock. I just called them again, and had the update the order with a susbstitute part. Again, they have told me it will take 2 - 4 hours and then I should know more.
Given the 3 day shipping, there is now 0 chance of me having my order by Friday. So far I am extremely frustrated and cannot recommend ordering from newegg unless you don't care how long it will take to actually have your order shipped.

My name is X Sun. I ordered my HD3870 video card from newegg, and got it 2 days after I placed my order. But a few days later, this card was on sale and maybe $20 drop in price, I chatted with their support, they refunded $20 in no time. This is the first time.
Now it is August, and the rebate (manufacture rebate) of that Video card has not come yet. I thought what I can do to check the status of the rebate. The surprising thing happens, they promise to refund the equal money as the rebate!!! I know it is not their responsibility, but they were too nice.
Base on this communication, and their wonderful customer support, I would say there is no place to shop as NewEGG.

I called up a Newegg representative and they told me that they would contact the warehouse for me. Later, I was told they don't sell "accessory". After at least 3 more calls, a friendly agent (thanks Cristy!) told me that they would send me a new mouse. Although I was deeply disappointed in Newegg's products, I still will purchase future products from Newegg. I hope they will improve their customer service. |

A call to Rosemary in Newegg Customer Service got my shipping charge refunded. I've made several orders with Newegg. They consistantly have the lowest prices/best deals. Shipping on even Free Shipping items is usually super fast. I've ordered an item at Lunchtime one day and it was delivered (upstate New York) by regular UPS the next. Their customer service is also very helpful, and their RMA policy is extremely efficient. I spoke with Ivan Godoy who helpfully assisted me through the RMA process for a defective product and even paid for the shipping for the return. I've purchased a myriad of items from them and you can't really beat their prices or their shipping! |

They normally have reasonable prices, great shipping, and I am able to find most of what I am looking for easily. There customer service is, in my opinion, top notch. Keep up the great work newegg! |

| Rating |  5 / 5 | | Comment | Newegg has always had low prices and a great product selection, but today I had to submit a RMA. I purchased the UPS label, but was unsure about it. I went onto the support chat, and not only was he friendly, but he went the extra mile. He voided the order for me, and then sent me another label to my email at no charge, that I would adhere to the box and bring it to the UPS store. Then, he also waived the restocking fee, as a courtesy. I didn't even know that they could do that, but, can or can't, now I get the entire refund back. I love Newegg, and I will always be doing online shopping there. And, a message to Newegg - NEVER CHANGE THE WAY YOU SATISFY YOUR CUSTOMERS!!! THANK YOU Alexander Calvo!!! |

| Rating |  5 / 5 | | Comment | I purchase from Newegg.com all the time, and every time is a good as it gets, they have excellent customer service, awesome shipping times and order processing. I live in Orange County and 98% of the time I receive my orders the very next day if I place them before 2PM.
Their customer service takes care of issues with no hassles and in a very friendly manner. I have accidently ordered a few wrong items and I call get an RMA number and send them back with no issues each time the credit goes back to my card very quicly.
I would highly recommend Newegg.com for all your electronic needs, and would feel very secure ordering even high price items with extreeme confidence. |

Customer service helped approve an RMA refund through a supervisor (the card was listed as non-refundable) and even sent me a UPS shipping label for the return. This is simply excellent customer service. Highly recommended. |
