I had never spent 5 grand on a TV let alone on the internet and in Montana to boot. I placed the order on monday and immediately went into a panic thinking "what did I do." The TV showed up on friday, we hooked it up and my bride is thrilled. Everything went so great. I saved 2 grand plus tax. I would definitely use them again. I would recommend them to my friends. They didn't try to upsell me anything or try to rip me off using the bundle gimmick. |

Camera was perfect and new. No flaws whatsoever. I would recommend and buy from this merchant again. |

| Rating | 5 / 5 | | Comment | I was looking to buy a Panasonic Lumix DMC-FZ18 and Vann's had the lowest price of anywhere I looked.
(Well, actually I had found one other place that had a lower price, but after reading the customer reviews back through the year 2005 I decided not to go with them because no one was happy with them, everyone complained about being baited and switched, etc.)
I placed my order over the phone and the lady who took my order was very nice, courteous and helpful. My camera arrived this afternoon (17 July 2008) and it was in perfect condition. It was all packaged in it's original packaging, nothing was missing or scratched, and everything seems to be in perfect order. I am currently charging my battery so that I can start using and enjoying my new camera!
I was worried about ordering from them at first since I hadn't heard of Vann's before, but I had such a pleasant experience with them, that I would not hesitate to place an order with them again in the future, and I would definitely recommend them to others who are looking for quality, value, and service. |

It was shipped out the same day I made the order, and tracking is very informative, since I live in NY, a long way from Montana. The camera came out of box in awesome condition with 7 days of journey, all the accessories are brand new and the camera body shines charmingly. In a world full of scams and counterfeits today, vanns.com is the store you can fully trust for. |

First off I ordered from a company that had the lowest advertised price online and ended up in the middle of a Brooklyn bait and switch upsell scam. I then tried another company that advertised a similarly low price and somehow found myself in a similar, though slightly less disgruntling, situation. Finally I found resellerratings.com and tried again. I looked at the reviews of those two companies and was shocked and horrified at how they do business. I searched for the camera here on resellerratings.com and found a number of highly rated businesses offering the camera for a good price (although not as good as the previously mentioned scam artists). Anyway I chose to shop with Vann's because they had not only the lowest price but also the highest reseller ratings - and not to mention they're located nowhere near the east coast, lol. Anyway, I placed my order at about 12:45pm and got an e-mail immediately saying that they'd received my order and that it would be ready to ship 24-48 hours later after aproval from their Fraud Security Department. Well I got a second e-mail just three hours later saying the order had been approved - now thats what I'm talking about!! After my first two experiences this was a total breath of fresh air. Less than an hour later I got another e-mail that said my package was ready to be shipped and that it would likely go out the next day. BUT WAIT, there's more! Two hours later, the same day, only 6 hours after ordering I got yet another e-mail - this time with a UPS tracking number. 6 hours after ordering the package was on the truck and on its way to my home. I cannot fathom how on top of things this company must be. They truly care about doing things right and getting it done right away. Oh, and sure the price was the very best among reputable companies, but if you want to save even more they also have a clearance department with product returns and scratch and dents where I also found the same camera for the same price that those grey-market con artists in Brooklyn were selling it for (and theirs likely would have been dinged or a returned product had I agreed to their scams). I haven't even received my order yet, but I can't tell you how happy I am right now for Vann's. Take a look at their website and you'll see that they're 100% authorized by their product manufacturers and you'll also be able to learn about the company and who they are and what they do. You won't see anything like that from the crooks at broadwayphoto.com or thecameraprofessionals.com. Long story short, if it sounds to good to be true then it probably is. Resellerratings.com is a breath of fresh air in an otherwise smelly sea of unscrupulous internet retailers. Thanks so mucn to Vann's and to Resellerratings.com for helping me out! |

The shipping company, "Big Yellow", took 2 days to get it from their local warehouse, to my house. The tracking information indicated that it would delivered on December 26, and it showed that it was delivered to the warehouse in town on that date, but it took me until noon on the 28th before I'd receive it, and that's only because I made numerous phone calls to Big Yellow in order to get them to help me. If not for my phone calls, it probably would have taken several more days. Overall, however, I thought it was a decent transaction and I would do business with Vanns again. |

As it turned out the speakers went out of stock prior to shipment, Vanns prromptly voided that part of the order and shipped the rest. After shopping around for a few days I decided on a pair of Polk Audio Monitor 60`s from Crutchfield. Better speakers than the Sony`s I`m sure. Anyway, because I took a few days to decide and Vann`s is in Montana and Crutchfield in Virginia. Everything arrived at my home in NJ together on the same UPS delivery. Now 1 year later it is all still going strong and sounding great. |

I placed my order for a Panasonic Lumix DMC-FZ18 on Tuesday evening, chose 2day air service for it. I got my confirmation the next day that it was going out and I received my order promptly midday on Friday, March 28. They had incredible service! Not only were they fast and accurate but the price of this wonderful camera was $50 cheaper than I found it anywhere else. I highly recommend going through Vann's for purchasing digital cameras. |

When it was unpacked, warmed to room temperature and speakers assembled and attached I plugged it in and it did not work. When I looked at the screen at an angle at the right height I found cracks in three corners of the screen. Vanns Customer Service reassured me that they would have the set picked up at their expense and replaced or my purchase price refunded at my option. The people I dealt with when placing the order, arranging the return and dealing with the shipping arrangements in each direction were courteous, friendly and knowledgable. All in all, while my hdtv was a disaster my experience with Vanns was splendid.My friends who learned of my experience and I am ready and willing to buy from Vanns in the future with great confidence. |

I was a little leary about going with Vann's since I wasn't familiar with them, but I had read some reviews and figured I would give them a try since they had the best price.
I called to order the camera and waited a reasonable amount of time before I was connected with a sales person. The order was taken, and the sales person indicated I would need a memory card since the camera did not come with one. I indicated I had one and the matter was dropped - no pressure. A couple of days after my order was placed, the camera went on sale. I called Vann's and they credited my account for the difference - no problem. The camera came on the day promised in perfect condition. I would definitely deal with them again. |

| Rating | 5 / 5 | | Comment | Vann's by FAR is the best internet store I have ever dealt with. I live in Ohio and was very skeptical about buying a big screen TV (Samsung HL-T6187S) over the internet not to mention from a company in Montana!
I did a lot of research on different TV's and stores and Vann's had the best price on the one I wanted, also free shipping! Vann's also had the best ratings/testimonials. I also bought the matching Samsung stand at a great deal.
Ordering was fast and easy and I received email communications quickly, the staff at Vann's was very polite and helpful.
I was able to track my order accross the country and was contacted by the carrier to set up a delivery time at my home. The TV and stand arrived in perfect condition so start to finish this has been a very positive experience.
Sum it up Vann's is Highly Recommended and I will definitely purchase form them again.

I ordered a DVD recorder that quit two weeks after I received it from Vanns. I sent them a message on their website and it took nearly two weeks for them to respond. After they heard that Panasonic was going to deal with it, they were ready to do anything to help... but not before. Make sure you don't throw anything away that comes with your order; they may even want the ties that the cords are wrapped in... No customer service here. Just lip service. I see that they are all owners and I'm sure that comes in handy when dealing with a dissatisfied customer; just a moment I let you speak with the owner... |
